Here are some links from the FAQ that might be helpful. I find eBay an excellent source for greenscreens, personally. You can also check out www.Tubetape.com, or www.studiodepot.com for greenscreen cloth or paint.

NO, THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! Of course you can. However, if you just go to the store and buy some green or blue sheets, or something of the like, you won't get the same result as the ones Axeman mentioned. Trust me, I've tried it before. But, if that's what you want to do, then who's there to stop you. If you want higher quality though, sheets won't get the job done.

The plastic green screen that TubeTape.com sells is perfect to start off with. Also I found that natural lighting (outdoors) works great along with normal lighting form say a work environment. Experiment with these ideas first before you lay out some big money for lights etc..
