I found "findsounds" a while ago, and got some great electrical arc sounds from there, but I get less impressed each time I go back. THey are 90% animal sounds. We are trying to conquer the Universe here, not start a zoo.

Hey you would get a token from me too if I had one. This is a great idea for a thread. Oliciv can you review each persons suggestions and then add them to your post? Once we have finished we just need to copy off your one posting. Well done.

VirtualDub isn't really a sound program, it lets you recompress clips, combine and split video and audio streams, that sort of thing. No editing or merging of audio really.

I've been stingy with my one token, but you earned it.

Now, next time someone comes in asking "where do I find _____", we'll just direct 'em here.

Just a thought: could this topic be made sticky? So that way newbies are more likely to see it and not post 'where can I get a bluescreen tutorial' type questions wink
