More Pixar news today, in that they're continuing their move into the sci-fi genre with a propose John Carter of Mars trilogy. Written by Edgar Rice Burroughs (of Tarzan fame) through the first half of the 20th century, the John Carter books are an intriguing franchise for Pixar to take on. It'll be the first adaptation of an existing work for Pixar but with its pulpy adventure stylings should fit their sensibilities perfectly. We'll find out in 2012...
