Does FxEffects products support the above software?

They can import AVI and MOV files and Final Cut can export those files so short answer: Yup.

Thank you for that answer. But sorry to say my understanding of AvI and MOV files is not my strongest understanding of computer technology.
I mainly work in trial and error situation and learning from forums and books.
I'm still working with FCP3 but been told many times to step up to FCP5.

Try looking up .avi and .mov at wikipedia. It should help your understanding a lot.
