I'm trying something and I want to make the ground shake when my giant walks. but the problem is that when I shake the ground, my giant don't move, when I make my giant move my background doesn't. is there a way i can make everything move without having to render it them get it back into the program?

If the layer with the giant on it is still in its default centered position, then you can copy and paste the animation keyframes from one layer to the other. Otherwise, yeah, you're going to have to render out the composite, then shake the whole thing at once. Or take the time to match the movement of the two layers by eye.
