I need to know is it possible to import 3d animation from XSI foundation and other CGI software into live action footage using Visionlab studio/Composite lab? If it is can you please tell me how to do it?

Step 1: Render your 3D animation to a .mov or .avi file, or to an image sequence. Preferably with an embedded alpha channel.

Step 2: In VisionLab, select File > Import media...

Easy as that. smile

Alp^ha channel OR blue/green/you-get-the-idea backdrop. (Then, just key it out)

And to quote Axeman's unforgettable words: EASY AS THAT.
