Hello. Im new to the forums but i use VisionLab for quite a while now, but i have'nt produced anything serious yet. Oh well.

I have a short scene in the making where my actor holds and then fires/throws a sparking ball of electricity. If you've seen the TV shows Spellbinder and Spellbinder: The Land of The Dragonlord, then you know what im talking about: the sparking balls of electricity (known as power bolts in the series) created by the powersuit.

Here's a short preview from the show:

Power Bolt in action!

I need an exact replica preset of what you see in the clip above:
A glowing ball that sparks.

This is all i can get:
Ugh Bléh Yuck

Thats all i can do with my limited knowledge. I don't know how to make it spark, plus, im horrible with photoshop.

If anyone is able to create this effect for me, i'd really appreciate it. smile

I might be able to achieve the effect when I have some time on my hands. Otherwise, try adding more layers of particles to the effect. You might also be able to acheive the effect with stock footage, though I don't know for sure if that would work.

I've been working on a preset and I have gotten something similar, but not exact. I'll keep working on it and keep you updated.

No problem. I've been working on it and the sparks are really hard to achieve... but otherwise, I'm almost there.
