Could someone make some alien plug-ins being from the film aliens or the supposedly real grey aliens you know large black eyes and greyish thing bodies?
I think it could be qute useful for sci fi movies that people are putting together i would love to have them so i could use on my movie i am putting together.
Hopfully someone will have a go

good ideas, although they would be hard to use...
you need to intereact with these alien's, which means that you need to be able to make a plug-in suited for the scene, still would be cool though...
i was thinking about if it ti possible to do the acid blood, melting through some metal or summit, if it is possible, that would be cool...

Ok.. this time it's reealy for a 3d program.. i don't think alamdv can make it look good and interact. Mayby 3d space ships will work in alamdv... but this is too much. (My opinion)

Couldn't of said it better. Some vehicles can work as stills, BUT when you're dealing with movie creature, they need correct lighting, and shadows, and the surface which they're on MUST BE exactly level in which it was created with.
This wiil not work as a plugin.

i guess it would be very hard, i am thinking maybe something like the transparent ghost like only a small part of it then only a certain part of it moving, still i may just be blabering on about something that has no future.

I agree - this is definately 3D program stuff. The only way I couls see this being feasible in AlamDV would be to produce the movie as a green or blue screen movie using a 3D program and then import your movie over the top.
You'd have to film your movie to match the animated blue screen movie.
But I don't think AlamDV yet supports merging two pictures so you';d still be up the creek.
I can see what I can do for the ships, but I really think no way on the creatures and no way on Yoda.
The only creature type plugin I have considered is that I have the eggs from Aliens. This could be a plug in animation of an egg opening. But again, I would have to supply the animation from a couple of different angles for it to be of use. Coulkd do that if you want.
At the m,oment though I am really only keen to do vehicles and other stills (but no more trucks!!!!!!!!!)

You know with a little time and effort you can work marvels with paper mache.

The creature from the original alien film was made from products you can buy at any hardware shop, papier mache would be perfect for the head.
In amatuer films some things just look better done for real...
