We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! 2008 is looking to be another great year for FXhome, with lots of exciting new bits and pieces in the pipeline - hopefully it'll also prove to be a fruitful year for all your filming efforts, photography and other projects.

Meanwhile, due to the holiday period we have a slight communications backlog to work through. If you're waiting for a reply to an email or forum post, you should hear from us in the next couple of days. Thanks for your patience!

I'm looking forward to this year.
I have two projects.

1. Wicked Awesome Circus (working title)
A comedy series me and my band-friend is working on, hopefully it won't suck.

2. Powerful Dilemma (working title)
This started out as Monkey Madness ^2, but while writing the script, my plan changed.
It's about... Well, it's not about monkeys.

I would like to hear what people are planning this year, film wise... Or is there another thread for that?

New years eve was pretty cool, except for the fireworks. It was really foggy, maximal visibility was 1 - 2 meters. I really didn't see a lot of fireworks here which was too bad. Oh well, better luck next year smile

I ended up working on the bar rather than drinking at it so no big party for me. Ah well at £15/$30 an hour it was worth it (I never see what the hoo-ha about New Years Eve is all about anyway).

In terms of filmmaking, I've got a few things in the pipeline this year.

The main one that I can talk about at the moment is a new spoof by the guys that did Get Lost. This time they're doing a Heroes spoof, which i'm doing the effects shots for again (and hopefully a quick grading pass if there's time). I've not seen the full thing yet, but I can testify to the effects shots being rather fun. razz

More on the other projects...soon.

Damn, that's kind of what my project is too, not really a spoof though.
Looking forward to see it though. =D

Happy New Year all!

I'm looking forward to doing some videos this year. My daughter wanted to do a video for "How to save a life" by The Frey so we did a quick shoot for that and finished it this week. My nephew who was home from college for Christmas enjoyed doing the video. I'm not satisfied with the outcome, but they love it and I guess that's what matters most. It was fun to do.

I cant wait to see some of the videos you guys produce this year.

Absolutely!

Talking of which, we've nearly got through the Xmas backlog, so all the pending presets and movies should be online before the end of the week. Thanks for your patience!
