EffectsLab doesn't have the Lightning engine. So that's probably why you can't find many presets compatible.
VisionLab is the only Fxhome product that has the Lightning engine. So if you really need it, I'd update now while there's still a huge deal (and VideoWrap!) available.

Also, This or this can be used as EffectsLab preset alternatives. Or you can use this or this ALAMDV2 plugin. The ALAMDV2 plugins would probably give better results although none of these will even come close to what the Lightning Engine and do.

Hi,do you download and import the ALAMDV2 plugins the same way as presets because I'm trying to get the lightning effect but not having much luck. Won't this particular AlamDV work with effectslab?

Please Please Please search the forums on how to import ALAMDV plugins. In short, you don't download it as a preset, but just as an image stream.

I reccomend the third link. That effect has proved helpful in many occasions.
