Is there a way to import another compression codec to the list already available in VisionLab. I would like to be able to have the option of using, Indeo codec, which I use in other programs.

You can't choose other rendering codecs than those available in the "Render" dialog. Remember that "Uncompressed" is your best bet to maximize compability with other software packages with minimal, if any, image quality loss.

Only problem is, I have to use another fx package to render it out using indeo codec, before I can use my video editing software.
Because FX Vision lab makes the uncompressed file so big, my editing software will not import it. So I have to compress it. Indeo codec, I have found to be the best quality. The other codecs available in Visionlab are not very good when rendering AVI. Ligos Indeo codec 5.11 is much better quality.
Also, another quick question. If I import an AVI file that is say 8- 16mb, and don't add any effects, but then render it out with visionlab. It increases to way over 100mb. Why is this?

Because it's encoding it uncompressed.
