Anybody seen Minority Report?
Is it possible to have a plugin like the one they had from that shock weapon? it's just soooo cool, and I would love to use it, even in the upcoming ScopeFest.

Yeah that was hella awesome. I was watching the making of Minority Report and they said everything in the movie was made from a group of 20 future experts, things that are currently in the making/in test format! They talked about how this 'sonic boom' weapon has already been tested, and is currently in extensive reasearch. That is so cooooooool!

I think it already can. Really all it was was a blue ball, then we would need sort of an blue explosion effect, similar to the muzzleflash one, but a tad different, then you would need to use a NLE to ripple part of the video. A bit tricky, but possible.

I've seen the previews for Minority Report, and the shock-blast weapons do look really sweet in action. It would also look really cool coming out of a gun.

The wepon was awesome! The way they had him flipping it around was cool too. It was to bad they only used it in one scene. That whole movie was good actuly. Jet packs, hovercraft, holograms, and sonic guns. Must have been fun to make.

No. Alamdv cannot do this type of plugin because you cannot interact with the footage in alamdv.
However, it'd be extremely easy to do in after effects. Apply a ripple over the person!!! With maybe within a masked circle too. That sure was a good movie.

Yeah Mecha, we all already realize you have to do the Ripple in another program, we are just talking about the actual laser part of the weapon.
