Reversing the dirt explode present [ANSWER]

Hi, I have actually reversed a present before and now cannot figure out how I did it. I want to make the effect start out big and suck in on itself. If anyone knows how to accomplish this, I would appreciate the information. Thanks.

just render the explosion by itself then bring that clip back into your software and click on it'slue bar in the time line and click on the little red button next to reverse. glad to help.

Great thanks. I did it and it works out good. Only one quam, it is somewhat lighter as though it has some transparency to it.

try using comp-lab but youl have to key out the black that should work.

When you render it out of effectslab, render it with an alpha channel. That should fix your problem, I think you can do this either by rightclicking the preset in the time line or by changing your render options.
