I’ve just realized that I have lost a lot of my back up discs and my
FXhome EffectsLab Pro and FXhome CompositeLab Pro are included in that.

Obviously, I would like to ensure, if the worst happens that I can re-install them again with my registration keys (which were written on the lost CD).

Any ideas how I can back this up, or is the answer painfully simple??

Log into your account and you will find all the software you purchased. Along with the key.

So the Product Key file if saved, will be my activation codes? Should they open with notepad?

No. Any time you need to re-install, log into your account, and download the installer and the keyfile. Then after you have installed, the program will locate the keyfile, and you will be good to go. Activation codes aren't necessary.
