Does videowrap make videos on youtube playback with a higher quality than if they were not videowraped?

Considering VideoWrap appropriately compresses videos to YouTube standard (therefore making YouTube not have to do so much automatic recompression upon upload), yes, VideoWrapping your video makes it less susceptible to recompression and as such, higher quality.

Just submitted my entry, I'm reasonably happy with how it came out but I'm sure Pixar won't be in too much of a worry just yet.

Well,
I was in preproduction for a month on this.
I wrote a script, did storyboarding etc. And
now I've got a full crew & cast for the project. Filming
is scheduled for 18-27th which leaves me with about
2 1/2 weeks to do some really seriously intense editing.
This is the first FXHome contest I've participated in
and I wanted it to turn out perfectly, so I went nuts with it.
Pretty much, If i don't win this or at least come in
2-4th, I want my 43 hours of my life back. biggrin

Now I'll really be able to show off what I can do.
As of now I haven't posted anything here I personally
created.

Is there a rule list someone? whats the deal with
copyrighted music etc?

It has to be uploaded to Youtube which means it has to abide by their terms of use which means no uploading of copyrighted material as far as I know.

Mine's going to be done at the last minute as well - I would suspect that there's going to be a lot of last minute uploads LOL

I'm gonna try to get some done this weekend, but yes, a lot of last minute uploads.
