Well so far what you have for the GB stuff is great, but for my movie I need two more things. I need the proton stream with the "cage" at the end. (The proton streams wraped around a ghost when it hit them) And i need a trap animation. Basic trap animation is a cone of white light(it must still be very transparent) inside the cone there are several red specks and blue electricity in a circle patern follwing up the cone.

1) You can make this work by combining plugins - there's sparks, electricity, masks... to name a few.

2) There is a very recent discussion on this topic - just search the forum with ghostbuster - that should find it.

3) You must be a gold member (??) to download plugins.

I believe there are enough plugins here to make just about anything work!

I searched, and i found nothing but several requests from SamurijackGB for a slimer plugin...and another one from Chad and his problems with the proton streams.

Yes i have been looking thorugh plugins all night now, and seeign what i could do with what. And the trap/proton stream cage, cannot just be imitaded, with out going off mainstream GB look. Sorry, im a little picky when it comes to this kinda stuff. rolleyes

Lastly, Im going to assume a gold member is soemone who owns the program? If so don't worry, im doing this movie step by step, starting with props>script>story boards>filming>special fx. Right now all my money is going into props and equipment, so buying the program comes a little later in my plan. tard Im not confusing at all am i? biggrin

to quote myself - the trap would be simple to create 3d or even a paint program, but the trap effect could be done this way: energy gates with square masks tilted on either side to make it appear as an inverted triangle "grabbing" the spectre with flashes of lightning, sparks, clashes, etc.

this doesn't help? the trap field would be animated and all...no? I think it would look cool with flashes of lightning and stuff.
