The first image from the X-Men spin-off Wolverine has been released. Hugh Jackman's back and looks as growly as ever (though his claws look a little longer...), but there's not much here to distinguish it from the previous X movies. Is this going to be a classy spin-off, or will it suffer the same fate as Electra and Catwoman?

I'm looking forward to this alot. Hopefully it will be classy and with HJ still in the role, I trust that the film will be great.

Hopefully the people who put up posters in cinemas can try and avoid this this time around...

Well, I still don't know why this is being made as the X-men trilogy has really been focused on Wolverine. That being said, Hugh Jackman is a good actor and I trust him to give a good performance no matter what. Also, you can't go wrong with a co-star like Liev Schreiber. I'll see it.

Agreed. X2 especially was completely centered on Wolverine... I don't know what to think about this.

I'll see this as long as it's not directed by Brett Ratner. I hate that man...

Didn't the size of his claws kind of change up alot in the original trilogy though? I have it in my head that the claws in X-men were much longer than in third film or the second. I just remember then being really long in the first film. I could be crazy, though.

I think he kind of looks bigger as in even more toned and muscular in this photo. Though I could be wrong.

In my opinion all the x-men movies were centered on wolverine and the last movie sucked so badley imo.

Mainly because they killed several major icon xmen characters.
The Phoenix saga was not at all what it was suppose to be.
The trailer made it look like there were sentinals in movie and I was VERY dissapointed when it was just a Danger Room exercise.
