How do I change the speed of the particles on the particle emitter.

I have the demo if that makes a difference.

Just by the "Speed Randomizer" control there is a Speed Gradient control. which looks like a long horizontal line. Double-click it to open the gradient, and you can adjust the speed, add control points to modify the speed over time, and all that jazz.

Thank you, it worked really well.
I was trying to make fire and the particles were going way to fast

Also you can right click the effect on the timeline and click "Set Speed". You can set the percentage to whatever you'd like.
