Is there a way to creat plug ins for composite lab (Or any of the other lab products)? Would it be against a copy write law?

Um, you can create presets, if that's what you mean. That's what the preset archive is for.

I know that, I mean like 3rd party plug-ins that gives you more options. like a program that runs inside another program.

I don't believe FXhome publish their API's, so you'd have to reverse engineer the application to work out the API's - it's a tough job, and would almost certainly land you in trouble.

Instead, why not post up here what you'd like to see added, maybe FXhome will add it to the wishlist for future releases?

(and FXhome, if you're listening, I'd love a scaleable timeline!)

Heh, unless they've changed, Fxhome don't do timelines. They're an incredibly small company in comparison with firms like Adobe, so predicting deadlines is difficult. I'm sure they've grown in experience with this sort of thing, but last time they set a deadline (for AlamDV 3, aka Effects Lab) I think they were off by a year or so!

Nooo!! I mean within the app itself, a scaleable timeline, so you can zoom the timeline so it shows either one frame at a time, or if you need less control but want to scrub to find something, you can zoom out on the timeline, so it shows (say) 10 seconds instead of 2, etc. Oh you know, like your NLE does.

Lol. Way to misread. I read the part about future releases and then the word "timeline".
