As most of you know Cypher (one of our AlamDV users) has a cool movie site at www.scope-entertainment.com. And if you've been watching the AlamDV forums you will probably have seen mention of a short film competition he is setting up (with some help from Hajiku_Flip and myself). Well the website where all the action will take place is now live, check out

http://www.scope-entertainment.com/~scopefest/

The competition basically is to create a short film using AlamDV from a given starting point. You are only given a short time to complete the film from the moment it starts so it should be interesting to see what people come up with. The competition will be starting in about a week, so go check it out if you fancy competing or judging the entries.

WOW

i asked 8ball (in TMM, Malone, Cypher and schwars presence) who will win scopefest - it said KID.

When i again asked 8ball it said "Cypher knows" !!!!

But on a sad note when i asked 8ball if Cypher will rig scopefest it said
"I can't decide"

lol

All hail the mighty 8ball !!!

Is it possible to deal out more force points to the winner? 100 seems kinda small...

As I said in the ScopeFest forums, I think too much more then 100 points would throw things off a little bit. Also, if you and mecha happen to win ScopeFest, who's getting the points? razz

if mechaforce were to win - the surely the force points would be split between him and sidewinder or something...

and i agree about the amount of force u get, if u were to get more than 100 it would look like u r summit ur not, if u get what i mean confused

I was informed eariler this afternoon by cypher that he, unfortunately, will not be participating in ScopeFest, and anything online overall for the next week, if not more.

Unfortunately, he caught pneumonia in both his lungs (different types) last week, and can't do anything for a while. This is a quite serious matter. confused

He wishes all of you participating in ScopeFest the best of luck. Im' sure all of us are hoping he gets well soon and back on his feet, ASAP! smile

In the meantime, ScopeFest will officially begin tommorow! Be sure to check the count down at the ScopeFest website to find out when the outline will be posted! You will have to upload your movie buy midnight on Saturday, Contestants will recieve a PM by Mystro explaining how to do this. If you have any comments, I will be around, just PM me on ScopeFest or the Alam forums.

Why are there only 4 movies up? Is that all the movies? When will the judging start? So many questions!
