Right. I have finally completed the script for Visitor 2. Below is a list of the characters, how much dialogue they have to read and if the part has already been taken. You will notice that I may need som eolder people to play some of the parts, because you cant have a veteren seasened Army general with the voice of a 17 year old.

If you do want to take part but are a bit nervous about acting, then the dialogue that is labeled as very short will be something like 1 line. So whoever wants to record their voice for my film, put a message below with the character you want to play and I will pm you the script.

Characters

Vice President Howard Burns – Large dialogue (older voice needed)

Secretary of Defence – Large Dialogue (older voice needed)

General Wilkinson – Large Dialogue (older Voice Needed)

CIA Director – Medium Dialogue (Part Taken)

Radio Operator – Medium Dialogue (part taken)

James Morton – Large Dialogue (part Taken)

Ben Morton – Medium Dialogue (part Taken)

Marshall Kane – Large Dialogue (part taken)

Peter – Short Dialogue (part taken)

USS Nimitz Captain - Very Short dialogue

USS Nimitz Officer – Very Short Dialogue (part taken)

USS Nimitz Console Officer – Very Short Dialogue (part Taken)

Old Man – Very Short Dialogue

F18 Pilot 1 – Short Dialogue (part Taken)

F18 Pilot 2 – Short Dialogue (part Taken)

F18 Pilot 3 – Short Dialogue (part Taken)

F18 Pilot 4 – Short Dialogue (part taken)

Stealth Bomber Pilot 1 – Short dialogue (part Taken)

Stealth Bomber Pilot 2 – Short Dialogue (part Taken)

Newscaster - Short Dialogue

I'll take one of the bomber parts. Do you want us to record it our selfs? This sounds like a coll project. If you need help with some of the effects, I'll take some and see what I can do. smile Good luck with your project!

yeah if you want. All you need to do is record your voice in a quiet atmosphere using any software you have, if not then windows sound recorder will work fine. The format i need is .wav. When i have all the voice samples i can then begin doing the character animation, because I need the audio in order for the lip synching to work.

Yes sure thats not a problem. If you want you can also be the 2nd stealth bomber pilot too. Reason being is the 2 scenes are quite a way apart from each other and you wont remember the voices are the same with all the action that is going on between. I will upload the full script in a few hours for people to download and read.

Ok here is the script

http://video-fx-universe.com/Photos/Visitor%202%20script.doc

Download it. It gives a brief explanation of what is happening in the scene and on occasion there is an emotion that needs to be brought out in the voice for example (shouting) (angry) I also have a large dialog for the aliens, but sound effects will be used for their voices with subtitles at the bottom. The full screenplay is written on another file. But anyone who takes part please reply with the exact parts you are playing so i know who is doing what and who i still need to find a part for.

You can play the captain, he only has about 3 lines. Also you can play the newscaster as well or get your partner to record it. The newscaster position can be male or female. Digerti you can play the 2nd stealth and peter. if possible have an american accent for the bomber pilot, keep your own for peter

I do hopefully mean to get it finished this year. Due to my recent cgi work i know they can take up to a month to do 10 minutes so with everything I see going on in this one (because there is a hell of a lot more storyline not explained on the script.) I know for a fact the film will last a minimum of 40 minutes, so it will take a loooong time to do. Many of you may have a general idea of what is happening, you only know the half of it

Hey, I do voiceovers. I've done many of them at the local tv station, so if you need to contact me, just email me at southpaw2k1@yahoo.com, and I'll send you my voiceover reel, if I can shrink it down to be attached. Or send me your script of what character that you think I could portray.
