a third ghostbusters would be cool...

but if they made it now, it would go along that crappy storyline where they are old and they train up new ghostbusters - which has been done so many times...

about a year ago, i remeber reading an interview with bill murray, in it bill said he would NEVER even think about making a 3rd movie. and considering he owns 1/2 of the franchise they cant make it without him on board.

I read that interview with bill murray too venis2k1 but recently read another and bill murray said that he would be interested in doing another one but the guy who playe Egon (dunno if thats spelt right) didnt know if he wanted to do it because he was a producer andwanted to take himself more seriously, and that there is a script for the 3rd lurking about written by dan akroyd

Me and a buddy of mine were thinking of doing a ghostbusters movie, but not quite how you might imagine. I may still make it in the future, if I work out how to make ghosts without bluescreening. Oh, and make them look covincing and not like total crap. I have so many ideas for films..Who knows what I'll be working on next.

Yeah Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd wrote the films, so they own a big chunk of them too. If both of them wanted to do a third, i dont think Bill Murray would say no. But then again, Egon's obese and the other two are bald...

I actually have a 56 second clip I'm working on that is going to be of Ghostbusters. My backpack is kinda dumb but, that's ok. Yes there is a film that has some actual Ghostbusting in it. It's called "The Power of Imagination" and it is done by Andreas. I'm actually using his Ghostbuster ideas and his funny backpack style in my movie. Hopefully I can find the sound effects for the Neutrona Thrower because I can't find them anywhere on-line and those are important. Oh yeah, someone should design a better Slimer plugin too. Anyway, expect to see my film in the weeks to come. In the meantime check out Andreas' film. I gave it 5 stars!! E-mail me if you find those sounds too!!!

All credit for my film will go to Andreas too.

Aww, man. I have to send you money to get it. Might be a problem with me living in the U.K and you living in America. Couldn't you upload it to a host??
Shame, as I really wanted to see it.

It is Harold Ramis, he is a producer now and let's just say he would need to lose a couple of pound to play the part of Egon Spengular again - as he has been sitting around eating alot whilst taking himself seriously and wouldn't look the same.

But then again the 'old' part comes into it.

They could all be out of work (GB's) big time after the second film, they have all gone their own way and have to come back for that last time zapping of the Goooie Ghost's - But with the problem of age not on their side it would be bloody funny.

Would be nice to see a trilogy made - But we dont have the money to buy the actor's or a film sudio - But we have ALAMDV

Found this a while ago: -

http://www.geocities.com/theoldfirehouse/bmmfg.html

When you get to the site just follow the links.

www.fanfilms.net lists two Ghostbusters films in its database but this is the only one that appears to be working at the moment.

Hey, I'm doing a fan film of Ghostbusters!!! (Release Date TBA)
About Ghostbusters III, the majority of us ghost heads wish for it not be made, Were afraid it wouldn't be original to the original films. Sony would revise Dan's already written script for the third movie and make where it would be exciting to 'todays' audience. Also, its impossible for it to be made. Sony thinks its to expensive, no other studio wants to touch it, and Bill Murray Doesn't wan't to be involved. biggrin Go to http://www.ghostbusters.net then message boards, then ghostbusters 3 and read up on it if your interested.
