Just feeling immensly proud at the moment and wanted to share. I just got an email from our distributor to an article in a swiss film magazine where the NightCast DVD is spotlighted in a "DVD Highlight of the month" article.

Obviously, the article itself is in german but the film gets a very positive review and even more so the DVD and it's bonus material with a simple yet effective statement that "THAT'S how bonus material has to be!"

To those of you who speak german or dare to read funny babelfish translations, here's the link.

Awesome! The Nightcast DVD's bonus material is indeed superb. It's made particularly unusual due to the film being a low-budget independent production, which invariably suffers from a distinct lack of extras.

Hence, while people have seen countless blockbuster 'making ofs', they've never really seen an in-depth examination of a micro-budget movie.

Congrats! Hopefully it'll boost up sales!

Thanks a lot guys!

We're really happy and pleasantly surprised about how well the film is received here in switzerland.

I hope there will be other countries following in our hunt for distribution. I'll definately keep you all posted!

...what?

Do a search here for "Nightcast" and you can see portions of the film.

Like others have said, Nightcast is an awesome movie and the extras make it more so.

Congratulations again !!

Sollthar,

Just finished watching Nighcast and loved it. Great work!! Although I had to read the subtitles, I still enjoyed the movie. Thanks for adding the in-Production movies also. I love to watch how everything was made. Looking forward to seeing more from you.

I've seen about half of NightCast. unsure Darth Penguin owns a copy.
From what I've seen, it's really good. Although I agree, it's too bad to have to watch it with subtitles; it distracts slightly from what's happening on screen.

Gotta watch the rest next time I see Darth Penguin. crazy

Hey!
I watched your movie Nightcast, and it was very cool =D just one thing... I watched the english dubbed version, but I am not a english native speaker, so most of the dialogues were very hard to understand =S not that I don't know english, it's just I can't undertsand what is being said sometimes... even if the dub was very good for the most time, it was hard to get sometimes... Any chance you release here a subtitles file?? Even if it was in english it would help, read is easier than listening =D and of course, if someone is unable to read english, they can always use Google translator to translate it into their languages, even not being 100% perfect, it is very good wink

Any chance?? =D

Thanks for the reply man!!
That's really bad... =(
I know this will look like "piracy", but since the movie was discontinued... Anyone who has the DVD will be willing to rip the subtitles and post a link here?? Just the subtitles, not the entire movie... Please???
I can help you with the subtitles ripping process, if you need =D
Hope someone will wink

Congratulations.

I've bought loads of low budget films on dvd through out the years trying to gain a bit of extra insight and I have to say that the extras on Nightcast were better and more insightful than all of them put together, in fact its better than most big budget films I also own as well.
