Hit by car

does anyone no how to make an effect by getting hit by a car? i dont want to use a greenscreen so would i have to use a complicated mask and if so can anyone direct me to a good tutorial.

You can film this sort of thing in stages, after setting up a camera on a tripod (so that the scene doesn't move):

1. Film the car driving into the shot and screeching to a halt (or just driving on, depending on what effect you want).

2. Film your actor separately in the street.

3. Either get your actor to pretend to get hit, or use some software to create a digital double (like Poser) and animate that over the cars bonnet.

Its quite a tricky thing to get right, good luck!
