light on greenscreen [ANSWER]

Can you tell me how much should the greenscreen background be lit inorder to make the transition to a background effective.

The main thing is that it should be lit evenly, so all the green is the same color.

It's best to use as little light as possible to accomplish lighting the background evenly. Diffused lighting works best. Also light the subject seperate from the backdrop. The backdrop should be about 1 stop below the subject.
