lightsaber movement

ive made a lightsaber in a blank canvas but i dont know how to get it to move around. please someone help me but im just a beginner at this so id be grateful if you sort of explained it in a easy way

Just use Keyframes, or look at a video tutorials.

Easy, draw the 4 point neon light, then press the green glowing button in the timeline it will turn red, then press the RIGHT arrow key on your keybord, now click once anywhere around the 4 point you just drew, it should dissapear. Now draw the 4 point again then go onto the next frame and continue. When you are done click the red button to turn the neon light back on and watch.
