FXhome,

I'm trying to render my project with the multi-file layered export setting but the result is only single file. Also, the render setting options do not mirror the ones in the tutorial.

I have these options:

Output Type
- multi-file layered export
- single
Output Container
- quicktime
- directshow
- image stream

Retain alpha channel - checked

I've made sure I had the most current version (v 1.005.011) and tried various combinations of settings but still a 'no go'.

Thanks in advance for your help.

All the Best,
John

To retain the alpha channel, you have to use a format that supports alpha channels, which means either the Quicktime animation codec, with color depth set to "millions+", or an image stream in an image format that supports alpha channels, such as TIFF or PNG.

Thanks for the response.

Should I assume that my original DV footage captured from my camera and edited (Adobe Premiere 6.5) should be exported as a quicktime (.mov) file?

Axeman,

Sorry I didn't check before I sent out the last reply but I found the settings in Adobe Prmiere that will output:

-quicktime
-animation
-millions+

I'll try to export a new file into CompositeLab Pro then export using multi-file layered setting and see if it works.

Thanks.
