I downloaded my license key and the windows installer. Placed both in my c:/downloads directory. I expected the install to want some help looking for the key file as that isn't the standard location.

Ran the install on my Win98SE machine. P-900 w/ 512mb ram. Install seemed normal until progran launched. I got the splash screen with all the credits then a pop-up with the title "Director Player Error" and instructions "Script Error: Continue?" If I hit No the who program goes off screen and I'm done. If I hit Yes the pop-up goes away and I'm sitting on the splash screen. Hitting the X to close does nothing as does clicking anywhere else on the screen. I can kill if from the task manager but it always takes two tries to get it to die.

I have rebooted, uninstalled-reinstalled, re-downloaded the key and installer programs. I've also killed most of the extra programs I normally have running to clear memory. I've also cleaned the registry ans run the usual cleanup routines to assure the machine is as close to "normal" as any Win98SE machine can be.

Any ideas on what the problem is ?

PhotoKey was not designed for Windows98 and does not support it. The oldest supported operating system is Windows2000, although we would highly recommend using either XP or Vista.
