Im currently in the pre-production stages of a new movie, and i was wondering if it was possible to make some of the ships seen in the opening scene of Terminator 2. smile

U got NE pix of wat the ships look like...It'll B easier 2 copy them. How many views of the ships d'u want? I aint a master of 3D, but I'll giv it a go...

thoe ships would be cool, although i can only VAGUELY remember them...

owen: what 3d program do u use??? if u use something like 3ds max, then u can go here http://www.3dcafe.com and download meshes, which means u don't have to create the ships - just d/l them smile what 3d proggie u using???

Well I got Maya and Softimage, but the trouble is my computer cant run them. I got sum other stuff tho, so I'll try those meshes U gave me.

Im having a lot of trouble finding NE 3D models of the ships U wanted...if U can give me a link Id B very greatful. There were none on the 3D cafe site

for the lights themselves, you could use a light bulb effect. As for the beams... we might need a new plugin. Or you could use a variation of the Batsignal with a mask.

Ok...U NE good at 3D tho, cause that is a nasty model 2 make, especially if thats the only pic U got 2 model it on... tard

I personally don't have a 3D modeling program, nor do I know how to work one. I plan on getting one soon, but being as I am a newcomer to the world of 3D, someone else is going to have to make it for now. Looks like this is a job for KermZ!
