Just want to ask, are any of the FXHome products designed to work with Duel and quad core processors?

At the moment, it seems that only one core would be used, but it would be really good if the software was designed to use all the cores.

Just think, the rendering could be better than real-time!

Yes, the products use as many CPU cores as your computer has.

Do they? I was under the impression that because the software used to develop fxhome product didnt suport multithreading that for now the products dont but of course I might have missed a news update somewhere along the line. Wouldn't be the first time lol

Hi, if any one is intrested, I tried the demo of vision lab and rendered out the giant chase sample on my friends Quad core phenom. I checked the four cores in the task manager and they were all working at about 60%

So VISION LAB is Multi core compatible. I would assusme this would be the same for effects lab and composit lab as well.

I think only the render engines are multicore, not the program itself

I'm pretty sure everything is multithreaded, all the way through.
