Short film about a walker in the hills who has an unpleasent encounter. This was filmed in 2006 and I recently found the footage while I was looking through some old tapes to see what they were. I was at a loose end so decided to re edit the film and try and improve it with grading etc, something I didnt have access to when this was originally made. The original is up on my youtube channel. Overall, I think that it's an improvement. If nothing else you can have a laugh at my silly hair and ''acting''.

This was pretty cool, very moody with the music and the lighting (you picked a good day to do this) the Zombie was really well done and exceptionally creepy. The only problem I have is p3eople being caught by shambling zombies biggrin seriously though it was very good work.

I liked it. Zombie was well done. It did cut off on my screen after the zombie jumped on the fence though.

Damn, this was creepy as hell.... That corpse make up was brilliant, and the lighting/grading really gave it a spooky feel.

Well done! 4/5

Although this didn't have a very deep plot, it was (mostly due to technicals) good. The makeup was really great. The lighting and grading were also very good. As for the camerawork, the angles were good for the most part, there were some exposure issues however. The music was brilliant, it was very creepy and it fit the movie perfectly.
I like the consistent direction on this: the location, the zombie makeup, the lighting/grading, and the music all just seem to fit together very well. It's unfortunate that there wasn't more of a plot though.

That movie was like how I want my steaks: well done!
The grading and lighting were both very good, accompanied by the good make up and great music! The lack of a plot is almost a good thing in this kind of film, I love it! 4/5

When this was first posted none of us had any idea who swintonmaximilian was, of course. I only just now made the connection between this film and swinton's more recent, award-winning work.

I rather like that the person behind Mr Fox and the forthcoming Untitled Death Movie once had hair this floppy.
