Mr Riddick is back after a strangely long absence and, thankfully, he's back to what he does best - growling and beating people up. The trailer for Babylon AD is out and it looks like it has potential to swing towards either Pitch Black quality or xXx tripe. Either way, there's a pretty cool visual effect right at the end of the trailer which is worth a watch, even though it most probably is a massive spoiler.

The story sounds a bit ridiculous

Imdb:
Veteran-turned-mercenary Thoorop takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to China. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.
But it has Mélanie Thierry in it who I've had a crush on ever since I saw her in the Legend of 1900.

Looks pretty cool - that last shot is EPIC. Oh, and when in doubt - use Lux Aeterna. wink

The snowmobile flip sequence kind of worries me. Hopefully it will be good though.

Again probably another volume in the series of unpopular movie commentaries from me the past couple days, but I loved xXx.

A big explosion rolled into a GTO, a snowmobile, a Corvette, and a speedboat. Absolute, unfiltered Diesel at his grizzliest.

Wow, another film with Vin Diesel wearing big fluffy coats biggrin.

The trailer hasn't done much for me really. As for xXx, is was a bad enough film to be good imo.

Is it just me or is anyone else fed up of Lux Aeterna by now? I loved the song the first time I heard it, and the subsequent 500 times afterwards... but now itš been so overused I can't actually stomach any trailer or youtube video that uses it.

Back on track, I was just wondering the other day where Vin Diesel had gone to. I know he has a game due out at some point called the Wheelman but that was about it.
