Why cant we post them any more!?!?
I realy dont understand why.
I mean they can do so much. I put together this whole animation of mechanical spider legs (It only has 3 feet) together but I cant post it.
I saved it as an image stream and everything only to find that I couldnt upload it.
Cant there be a new section for AlamDv2 plugins? But under a different name or somthing?

I enjoy making robotic effects such as over-dramatic transformations and stuff. And I cant upload it because of some horrible incident that never actualy happened.

Whatever made them get rid of uploading them anyway?

Well, they did away with the program. Since the program no longer officially exists, and isn't supported, that's why they don't accept new plug-ins for it. Also because the majority of the plug-ins were of mediocre quality, and many of them were 3d renders that are useless in 90% of situations anyway.

The AlamDV plug-in architecture is really useless at this point. You have to completely work around it and turn the image stream back into a stock clip to use them anyway. If you upload your clips somewhere, there is certainly no rule against sharing them with the community here on the forums.

Chao - you do realise that the AlamDV2 plugins are just stock footage clips, contained within a kind of wrapper? Given that AlamDV2 no longer exists, there's really no point in converting stock footage to AlamDV2 plugins. You might as well just provide people with the stock footage, easier for everyone. smile

I am aware that they are saved as image streams and all that good stuff.
But I always thought that alamdv2 was the correct term for them.

Well anyway. Does anyone know a good website where I can upload them to?
Ive make this awesome set of robot spider legs and I dont want them to go to waste.
