Have you tried completely different names or have you added random suffixes to the name? That might make sure it is unique (although, I'm not sure what Team FXhome's stance on that is)

Also, what browser are you using? Normally it is recommended to use Firefox on FXhome.com as certain elements don't work properly in other browsers.

If the name is in use, change the name and resubmit it.

I noticed you said you tried uploading the presets to WWW.fxhome.com. I thought it might be worth checking out this thread.

In addition to what Jabooza said, you put http:/ instead of http://

Just thought I would throw that out there.

Okay I want to upload 3 presets

1: Halo 3 plasma rifle part one (muzzle flash)muzzle flash
2: Halo 3 plasma rifle part two(plasma bolt)neon light
3: Halo 3 plasma rifle part three(plasma bolt hitting object)neon light

but whenever I press upload it basically says
"this name is already in use please use another one"

I am uploading them one at a time
can someone give me a name to give these presets so I can upload them

Its worth noting that if you have already uploaded these presets once, then the name is in use by the previous version, even if it wasn't posted.

H3 plasma rifle
Halo plasma gun
Halo 3 plasma bolt

There's lots of options you could use to rename them.

what does it mean when it says
"Your presets are pending"
I know what pending is but does it mean that fxhome is looking at them to see if they are acceptable for the website or what?

Yes. All submitted presets are reviewed and tested by hand to make sure that the quality is acceptable and that there are no problems with the files themselves. Once they have been reviewed, either they will be posted, or you will get an email explaining why they weren't accepted. I'd be patient on getting a respose right now, as the shoot for the short fil is going to keep the entire crew busy for the next week, in all likelihood, so it might be a while until they get a chance to review any new presets.

I hope to see your presets available soon.
