Is there a place or a website where I can get backgrounds for my green screen. I dont want to have to get in an airplane and film for a flying scene, or run away from a herd of buffalos for a chase scene. biggrin

Absolutely try a google search. It may be a little difficult to find good free sites at first, but they are there.

1. download the video you want
2. make sure it is a .avi or .mov file (if not, convert it)
3. Now in CLab: Goto the media tab and select import (icon that looks like a folder) and select the file

"greenscreen backgrounds" I thought, but now that's giving me completely different results, so I'm not so sure.

If you are after a specific background, try searching for the subject of the bg you want. Searching for greenscreen backgrounds in unnecessarily limiting yourself, since you can use a lot of video that won't be labeled as greenscreen backgrounds. You can also search for "digital backdrops," though typically you will find still images rather than video footage.

Sites such as www.istockphoto.com that have inexpensive video footage should be kept in mind as well. They are going to have a much broader range of footage available, and are more likely to have hard-to-shoot yourself footage, such as moving sky backdrops.

Yeah, if you're looking for a clip of something specific, by all means, search for that. I didn't mean to suggest that only stuff labeled "greenscreen backgrounds" could be used, I just didn't know for sure what all you were looking for.
