Hi People,

Just an announcement as the first of the new products we have been working on has just been released - The iPlugins.

Visit the iPlugins Web Site

As the name suggests, these are plugins for Apple's iMovie program. They are not competition for AlamDV2 - we consider them the entry level for people that want to experiment with effects on the Mac. They were all programmed in record time by CSB's new man Tim while he was also finishing his university degree!

There are 2 sets - Special Effects and Video Effects. Both will sell online as of now for just £9.99 or £16.99 for the pair. There is an upgrade path to AlamDV2 with our new Loyalty Discount scheme. If you get the iPlugins (or another one of our new products) then you can buy some of our other programs at a discount rate - 10% off AlamDV2 for instance.

The iPlugins web site will have its own community so if you are an iMovie master be sure to sign up and help out smile

We'll get you up-to-date on the progress of our other project very soon.

Regards,

Schwar, Malone and TimBuk2

Man - o - man!! This stuff is cool! I'm glad to see it's finally up!! They're cheap!! Real cheap!!

Is any of this stuff going to be featured on the official Apple site? Mac Addict? Any plans? I'm sure it will get attention!

I think you have an excellent name and graphic to represent the plugins for iMovie! Perhaps you will have a plugin suggestion forum for requested plugins for the next pack?

Good job. As a Mac user I appreciate CSB's ability to write software for the Mac.

It probably won't be as big. Don't change this forum though... it's really great as it is. If you decide it is too unprofessional or something, you should backup the database and move it to another site... like TMM's alamdv site. Something like that...

The community at the iPlugins site isn't intended to compete with AlamDV.com.

It won't have force point etc...

AlamDV2 is our flagship product and therefore will remain the main site with all the funky stuff.

It didn't use to be that way, though.

It's all Schwar's fault!
