Continuing today's slew of trailers, fans of television show Heroes will be interested in the trailer for season three, which is conveniently available over at Slashfilm. Will the third season be an improvement on the disappointing and WGA-curtailed second?

I hope so as season two totally sucked and I didn't feel it went anywhere at all.

I thought the last two or three episodes got things moving...just in time for it to run out of time. But yeah, 2/3 of the second season was just spinning its wheels. Building things up and biding your time can work well as storytelling techniques, but you still have you give your audience SOMETHING, especially if they're only getting an hour a week.

I think the only nice tie in was that Adam turned out to be Kensi.

The problem I have is that now they know they can use Claire's blood to heal and bring back from the dead they can just kill people off willy-nilly and then just bring them back again.

I feel they just ran out of ideas - I hope they sort it out for next time.

I loved Heroes' first season but season 2 makes me not very enthused about the new one. It was incredibly irritating and the plot and characters meandered from episode to episode. It was sub-Smallville, and when you're talking about a Lost wannabe, that's bad. At least Smallville is self-knowingly silly and is enjoyable to watch.

With Heroes, I wanted an evolution of character over huge storylines. Season 1 did that well, with the bigger even looming in the background, and the style/reference point aided by Isaac's paintings. They completely destroyed that in season 2 but didn't do anything to compensate. Slow evolution of character flew out the window, e.g. the Micah's cousin episode.

I hope they do something interesting with Sylar with this Heroes and Villains concept. What if he's really a hero? Oh, and no more Ireland-set episodes please.
