quick question

Can i not drag and drop my background video onto my actors for the green screen? i use the effect i am supposed to in order to turn the green screen black, and then try and put in my background media and it just covers up my actors.... and if i try and place it on the timeline under the same point in the timeline where the video is at , it never shows? what am i doing wrong here.... i drag it to the timeline and put it right on the same tick mark on the main timeline (the one that counts the frames, has the play button, etc... thanks

If you apply an auto difference key to a clip, it is assumed it is a greenscreen clip, and you want to key the entiere thing. What exactly is the scenario in which you don't want to key the entire clip?

If you place your background on the timeline first, then add the greenscreen clip, it should always end up in the correct order.
