Does anybody know of a place where you can get cheap jedi costumes and cheap lightsabres(not the plastic hasbro ones)?

If u want them cheap make them yourselve! Internet is full of turtiols to that! Just search on av.com or google.com biggrin

I would tell you to create your own lightsabers. I tried the buying as I went approach and it was costing me a fortune. I then went to Home Depot and started getting creative with pieces. I brought them home put them together(use screws dont try to glue) painted them.....and used diferrent things for grip(my facorite is leather strips.....The lightsabers look great. I plan on selling them on EBAY once I am done with my fan film.

As far as the costumes go.....make them yourself. A good costume will run you about 4-500 dollars. I found a friend of mine who was a great sewer. She just wanted the money for the fabric and she did it for free. I had creators choice on everything in the costumes instead of buying what others wanted to sell. The costumes ended up costing around $100 after boots and belt. Far better than 4-500 dollars. Anyways you can find a bunch of tutorials on how to build costumes all over the net.
