I am getting a prompt that tells me that I need to check my file system because the file cannot be written. Three buttons are displayed with this dialog box abort, retry, ignore. When I hit abort, it stops the installation of the update. When I hit retry, the box keeps popping up. When I hit ignore the next file states the same. Are there any fixes, is this a bad update, or am I doing something wrong in the istallation? I am a very experenced computer user and can fix most problems, but I am stumped?!?

Are you trying to install PhotoKey or PhotoKey Batch?

Also, how much free space do you have on your hard disk?

Do you still have PhotoKey open when running the update installer?

Try uninstalling PhotoKey before installing the new update. It sounds like the update installer doesn't have full access to your computer, possibly due to a lack of administrator permissions.

I am updating FXHome PhotoKey. I have 135GB free on the hard drive. I am updating the software because I get a prompt to do this every time I run it. I am not updating off of an internet site . It is a force update.

Try updating directly from the site, rather than through the force update within the application. Go to Downloads > My Programs and Keys here on the site, and download the latest installer, uninstall the application then run the new installer and see if that makes a difference.
