Hi guys,

This problem started occurring out of nowhere, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced it.

It started sometime yesterday. What happens is:

1) I go to the 'plug-ins' page, and click on the link to one of the newly added plug-ins (it doesn't matter which). The next page begins to load, but it stalls mid-way. To be more precise, all the text elements load correctly, but the graphics do not e.g. the preview image of the selected plug-in. Refreshing the page results in the same thing.

2) Any webpage that I view subsequently has this same problem e.g. when I access the Forum, the text in the posts display correctly but the buttons and avatars do not. Everything only returns to normal after I reboot the system.

Does anyone have a clue as to what's going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated smile

Oh, yes: I'm on a PIII 500, running Win98SE (and IE 6.0) with 384MB RAM.

Malone, it only seems to happen when I access the plug-in description / preview pages. Other areas of the site don't seem to cause the problem.

I didn't have this problem before yesterday, so it's quite perplexing smile I've been visiting the site almost everyday since I bought a copy of AlamDV2, and this is the 1st 'glitch' that I've experienced.

All other webpage pictures won' t load..I have to disconnect from my ISP
(Freeserve) Reboot my PC and try again. I'll be staying out of the plugin download section for a bit.

Ok, firstly it seems to be an IE problem. We have identified some odd images that Mechaforce used for previews for his plugins. I have fixed them and hope that will clear up the problem (it might take a while for caches and things to sort themselves out, so dont worry if it isnt instantly fixed).

Btw, the problem went away after I cleared my cache, so that may be the solution smile
