Hey, guys, I just thought of a great idea! There needs to be an AlamDV store! In it you could buy the CD version (of course), and you could try it out on computers with raw footage. There would be TVs around the store with AlamDV Cinema movies on them. Also, there would be merchandise. AlamDV shirts, hats, jackets, etc. And don't forget toys! There could be lego sets of movies ("The Test", featuring multiple Sollthar lego figures!), and best of all, Schwar and Malone action figures (with AlamDV coding action! Press the button on their backs and watch their fingers move! biggrin ). All of this stuff would be a great hit, and would sell very well! Please do this, it would be very cool. biggrin

Nah. We would need more of an average person doing the dirty work. Hmm..wonder who that could be?

Oh yeah, and there would be videos with the movies on them for sale, as long as they weren't Star Wars or Matrix films, which half of them are!

I was just thinking… you could make a dvd of the cinema movies that weren't fan film, and the makers had agreed to let you use them for a small amount of the profit and sell it. I might buy a copy if its cheap. And especially if there are lots of good ones on it.

Ya but then people under 19 (in Canada 21 in U.S. I think) wouldn't be allowed in, which is a ton of people but if you had it in a European country (other than England because your not allowed in pubs there) it would be great. Like France (i go there alot).

Though I understand the gentleman's idea for an AlamDV Store, I question the proposals marketability. Who would use this Store? Though I am a memberof the Community, I do not belive, that as an average American consumer, I would shop there. I am affraid it would turn into a wasted effort, though it is directedd in the right place.

Furthermore... the proposal to have a bar would hardly be feasible. Owning a bar requires a liquor license. I believe that you would be hardpressed to find a Health Commission that would issue any such license to an online institution.

I understand that a disclaimer was written above, but the last thing I want to see is for the Community to come under a pallof international suspicion. I do not want Geraldo Rivera knocking on Schwars door trying to uncover an illegal bar scam perpetrated by the good people here at AlamDV.
