I wasn't really sure what board this should go in, so you can move it if you want.
What I wanted to know was whether you were having your Visionlab Studio special again this year like you did last year.
I think it was down from $499 to something around $300.
I really want to buy Visionlab, but at the moment it is out of my price range. I am considering just buying Effect Lab Pro, but it doesn't have everything I want (like the compositing side of things and lightning that Visionlab includes).
If Visionlab came down to its special like last year, I would definately buy it. If you haven't already decided to do it again this year, PLEASE consider it!
And also, if there is a special, will Tubetape (who also sells your products) have the special as well?

We haven't made any decisions either way about Christmassy deals yet. If we do do something, it's unlikely that we'll do the same thing as last year.
Tubetape are an independent company, so our deals and their deals are separate things. It's up to them if, what and when they do.

We aren't sure what specials we might run this holiday season. We usually try to offer the same as FXhome but it's not guaranteed.
We do occassionaly auction VisionLab and a Green Screen on eBay to generate interest in the product. Sometimes a lucky customer can get a great deal. There is currently one up for auction now. You can see it at the url below.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370093765051
There is no guarantee what the final price will be. It all depends on the bidders.

Dang! When I first saw this post I thought it was going to be about the Star Wars Christmas Special! But anyhow, you may want to look into just buying EffectsLab and CompositeLab together. It's cheaper than Visionlab, and you get most of the same stuff. Although not all of the effects, including the very cool lightning engine!
