Suggestions for Batch from an event photographer

We have downloaded and tested the PhotoKey Batch product, and appreciate that it is a good contender with other event-based products for greenscreen work.

It appears to have been made for the photographer who takes a lot of photos, and then processes them. In our business model, we send two people out, and have one person shooting and the other processing the images as they are shot, saving the composite, and printing the image for the subjects. We would appreciate some sort of "watched folder" or similar functionality, so that images don't have to be imported every time you add new photos.

The second suggestion that we have is to allow easier printing and saving. What we would need is a check box that says "print" in the export tab so that it prints automatically to the printer, with a minimum of dialog boxes for each print.

The third suggestion is that it doesn't appear to be easy to switch background/overlay sets on a per-image basis. We occasionally offer our subjects a choice of backgrounds, or we have one background for portrait-orientation and one for landscape-orientation. It appears we need to go to a separate box, change the background, change the overlay, and change the picture orientation to make this happen.

Thanks for the software, and we look forward to purchasing the software if some of our suggestions get implemented.

I'm also in the event photography business. Would be good to see these features implemented.

I'm also using the Batch software at events. In combination with 2 dye-sub printers we offer our clients a shoot and print within a minute.

The suggestions made before me are good. It would also be great if there was a button to select all images as "unique", because now you have to make them unique one by one.

My second suggestion is to support a dualscreen pc, so on one screen the photographer can see/edit the photo's while on the second it just shows in full-size the edited picture.
