Welcome to the forums.

There are no books that I know of. But take a look at the manual (help file). It should have everything you need to know.

And, of course, the forums are always here when you need them. Pretty much every question imaginable has been asked before and answered. If you have any specific questions on how to accomplish a particular effect or whatever, feel free to ask.

My question is for the FXHome staff, would they endorse a book being written on Vision Lab Studios, i've thought of it, but have not.

I'd recommend you to check out the quickstart and reference manual include - give that a good read through and you're pretty much ready to do whatever you want to. Also, the video tutorials and the example projects included will help you understand the workflow of the program.

And if you get stuck somewhere, just post here and you'll probably have a solution in no time at all (if it hasn't already been answered). smile

It's highly unlikely that we would endorse a book about VisionLab unless it was created in-house, or with our direct involvement.

You might also find the video tutorials quite helpful.
