Stock video and images are useful for any photographer or filmmaker, providing a library of clips that can be drawn upon at any time to enhance a project.

We’ve always wanted to offer a range of stock options here at FXhome.com, so we’re extremely pleased to announce these two new products.

Footage: Special Effects

If you need to add some pyrotechnic excitement to your videos, then look no further. We’ve teamed up with NoControl Cinema to offer a selection of top quality, high definition clips of smoke, explosions, sparks and dust. These are packed onto a DVD with over 1000 clips from the FXhome archives, collecting the best of the classic AlamDV2 plugins into an easy-to-use format.

The Footage: Special Effects collection is available for $69.

Overlays: Greeting Cards

We’ve created a selection of exclusive greeting card designs for use with PhotoKey 2’s new card designer. If you want to create professional cards this holiday season for your friends and family, this pack will get you started. Designs include holidays, birthdays and celebrations.

The Overlays: Greeting Cards collection is available for only $29.99.

Bundle deals!

If you want even better value, each collection is also available as part of our amazing new bundle deals.

Awesome stuff!

The greeting cards I can obviously figure out on my own, but I'm taken in by the stock footage. What do the 50 HD clips consist of, broadly? How many explosions are in that 50, how many fire clips, etc?

Just curious! biggrin

Just wanted to clarify, this isn't the same package available on NoControl Cinema's webshop, right? smile You can indeed never get too much stock footage, and I'm quite interested in this package.

Can you buy the stock footage separate from the pakcages? Is it pre keyed? Are you going to offer more stock footage in the future?

I was wondering the same thing? I would like to see more pictures of the stock effects first before buying.

Those ARE clips from our stock footage packages, yes. So people who already own the super stock pack will have pretty much all those clips - with a few exceptions that are from our new packages that will be released soon.

I have the Stock Footage and it is increadible the HD clips are awesome!
There are loads of other clips and images which are great.
The Files are all MOV so you need apple quicktime 7(which is free) to use it on fx home (i encountered that problem but solved it soon)
note: you can just import them to fx home and export them as avi if you prefer avi

Thanks everyone! Glad you all like our clips.

The fxhome Stock DVD contains 50 selected clips of different packs, which is less than 25% of the complete collection the Super Stock Pack contains.

So it might be worth noticing that the FXhome DVD is of more interest to those not owning our super stock pack yet and those who wish more variations and more clips, can get the super stock pack here:
