Absolutely loved the dvd of the beach landing and superheroes, it was great to see how they were put together with clear instruction - step by step. What other effects, or scenes, would we like to see recreated for future fx home dvds?

i would like to see a fire man effect similar to this.http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JmD7ysB62P8
And an ice man type effect; just to tie in with the super heroes.

I just got the Beach landing and super hero tutorial DVD. They were great, and contained the kind of depth of explanation that helps learn the program. I am a relative newb to using VSL, though I have owned it since it release. novice user and would like to become even more proficient at it. I would like to see a more in-depth particle engine tutorial, and the guy turning invisible as well. The beach landing DVD was great for the most part, and the step by step instruction was great. In some spots I thought it could have gone even further. Great product!
I will not say the same for the green screen tape. I was hoping to get much more explanation than the DVD provided, especially in respect to how to key with VSL. In fact, now that I have watched it I would say it was a total disappointment as it did not offer anything more than what I think you could find on Youtube. It would have been great had they gone into detail about how to key with VSL as that is what it lacked IMHO.
When are more products like the Beach Landing DVD coming out?

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the Greenscreen Lighting DVD, GIants1714. I think you may have been expecting something other than was advertised though, as the DVD is titled "Green Screen Lighting," and doesn't purport to contain any info about keying in VisionLab. And really, if you light your scene correctly, keying in VisionLab is a snap. Much of the time, if you take the time to light things correctly, I've found that the Auto Key in Vlab is about all you need.
Good to hear suggestions about what other tutoials people would like to see though. I've yet to get my hands on the Beach Landing and Superheroes vid though, so I'll wait until after I've watched it to offer my suggestions.

I just received the Learning and greenscreen DVD's today as well. Took a tad longer than the 3 to 5 days the confirmation email said though.
Haven't watched the greenscreen yet, but Tarn did a good job with the Learning video. Worth evey bit of the price of admission. Very soft spoken though, speak up a little and say it like ya mean it. lol
