The media handling in EffectsLab is identical to VisionLab, TSHADproductions, so the file settings would be identical as well.

So far I have found that the highest setting with the HV30 is the best for greenscreen and or effects. The VL import setting NTSC (US) for the highest setting is:

Template: HDV 1080i 29.97 (1440x1080)
Width: 1440
Height: 1080
Framerate: 30
Aspect ratio: HDV 1080 (1.3333)
Scan method: interlaced (odd)
Sampling: 4:2:0 (MiniDV PAL/HDV) or set it with 4:4:4 (it will change your Template to Custom)

The video file before importing needs to be a .mov (Mac)
