I just recently started using CompositeLab and I'm having trouble using the green screen and keying functions. I have no trouble keying out green and black background, but I cant manage to key out a white background properly. The footage I'm using is the blood splatter effects found on detonationfilms.com. If anybody could give me some pointers I'd appreciate it, thanks.

You should be able to just change the composite mode to multiply and remove the white. You shouldn't have to use a key at all. Isn't that what detonationfilms suggest in their instructions?

Another option with some blood footage is to hue colourise the blood in the key grade toolset to green, then use a normal auto colour difference key, but inverted.
