I was wondering what the nav at the top would look like without the orange outline?
i think the orange looks really bad now that you have it inner beveled or the gradient thing etc.
i think it would be much better without the orange.

I think the orange is fine. It adds some flare, and looks better then say, another blue for an outline.

ok wtf was that???
i don't even think you understood what you wrote urself.
flip: i know u like posting in virtually every topic...but unless you do have something to say, and not trying be funny (which im not sure if u were trying to be funny in the above post, but its not)...then don't post!
or rethink what you were going to say!!!
EDIT: im not saying replace the orange with another outline...im saying get rid of the outline completely, or make it super super super thin. but still, i think it would look better without the outline

Anyway... I agree with cyper on this, it looks kinda... "eh". Maybe the gradient, and a slight color change on the button would be good, but the orange just looks sorta out of place, even though it does match the "DV2" in the alamdv2 logo at the top.

The DV2 logo is bright red. The outline is orange. Maybe your monitor is older, but I can see a huge difference in colors. Although, an orange outline is better then a red one, that would be too icky. Also, I don't think it'd match well with the yellow text of your name, next to 'Your details'. I like the outline, and I don't think we should add another blue for the color. Orange fits right to me.

Huh? I'm talking about how the rest of the site is blue, and I don't think the outline should change to blue if it does change. Orange is fine.

again, im saying get RID OF THE OUTLINE ALLTOGETHER. not replace it with another color.
the only thing the orange may fit with is the PostTopic, join forum etc buttons.
as for the gold name under, that's only for gold members, so the rest don't see that and it doesn't fit.

If you read my post instead of just assuming what it said, you would of seen that i'm using words like 'if it does change i think' . I know you don't want an outline at all, that's pretty obvious by now. I'm saying I don't think it should change AT ALL, and if it does, I don't think there should be a blue outline instead of an orange one. Yeesh.... Edit: You just told me in chat that the original idea of the thread was to get rid of the outline all together. I'm sorry, I didn't know new ideas were against the rules. My bad.

Gotta go with flip on this. I think the orange outline works fine, color-wise.
I like the outline. I like it in a design sence when a site indicates on the menu bar what part of the site you are on. And not only is orange blue's natural complement, but it pops up elsewhere on the page (the words topic, reply, author, message).
